The Story of an African Farm bV OLIVE SCHREINER abridged in five parts by DONALD BANCROFT
Read by Eva Haddon
Olive Schreiner died In Cape Town on 10 December 1920. It was this novel (first published in 1883), much of which is autobiographical, which established her name in literature. Sir Charles Dilke even acclaimed it as the greatest novel In the English language. Be that as It may, the tale has a sincerity and realism found only rarely today, and it abounds with humour, sensitivity, and not a little sadness. 1: A Disturber of the Peace
