Teams from ten nations - the largest entry ever - are this week assembled at Burghley House, the magnificent home of the Marquess of Exeter. In this contest (equestrian sports' second World Championship of the year) Great Britain's representatives, for so long the pace-setters in this highly specialised sport, will be under severe pressure from the start of the very first phase - the Dressage Test.
