Founded in 1922 to provide entertainment for the wounded of the Great War in hospitals in South-West London and Surrey, the ' Lest We Forget' Association has gradually expanded until today there are ten branches in London, Surrey, Middle-sex, and Sussex. Each year some 10,000 disabled ex-service men and women are entertained by concerts, or taken on outings to the sea. Funds are necessary to continue this work.
