on Regional Programme London

View in Radio Times

Kitty Trevelyan
In this holiday talk that is planned for young people as well as for adults, Kitty Trevelyan, who is a daughter of the Rt. Hon. Sir Charles Philips Trevelyan , will tell listeners about an exciting climb she once made in the Rocky Mountains. She will describe how she tramped with a guide through primitive forest to the mountain base, achieved her climb after many adventures, and slept on frozen snow on the summit under baking sun. Listeners will hear about her even more exciting descent, and how she nearly lost her way on the return journey, but eventually found bliss in a bath and bed.
