Forgiving Dr Mengele

on BBC One London

Eva Moses Kor and her sister were subjected to horrific medical experiments by the Nazi doctor Josef Mengele. Consumed by anger for many years, she gradually realised the only way forward was to forgive her torturers. Sixty years after the liberation of Auschwitz, Eva returns to Poland with her son Alex on the feast of Passover in order finally to confront her past.
