'A PORTER SAFARI IN THE OLD DAYS'

Today in East Africa cars or trucks do most of the carrying. In the old days, however, everything for a journey, or safari, had to be carried by native porters. That method was still in use when Captain Keith Cald well, the well-known authority on African wild'life, first went out there, and it is the subject of his reminiscences this afternoon.
