This voluntary Society aims to give relief to those in need, and to provide Homes for elderly gentlepeople. Relief is provided in cases outside the scope of the National Health Service, particularly for the sick and aged. The Society's twelve residential Homes aim to allay the two fears that beset old age-illness, and that of becoming a burden to the younger generation.
