The story of Zorba, a lusty Greek with an infectious love of life, is told through the eyes of Basil, a shy young British writer who meets Zorba when he journeys to the island of Crete. Winner of three Academy Awards, the film stars Anthony Quinn in one of the most memorable performances of his career, with music composed by Mikis Theodorakis.
