Appeal on behalf of the Stepney Infant Welfare Centre by the Rt. Hon. Sir WILLIAM JOYNSON-HICKS, Bart., M.P.
THIS Infant Welfare Centre, which was the second to be founded in London, includes a nursing home with beds for nine babies, a dental clinic for mothers, and an ultra-violet ray clinic. During the past twelve months it has dealt with 4,500 cases, and, although half the running expenses are paid by the Ministry of Health, the Centre is in urgent need of funds to enable it to carry on its work.
