John Lithgow Chicago teenager Ren is not the sort they welcome in Bomont. A fundamentalist town ruled with a rod of iron, dancing, rock 'n' roll and certain books are all banned. Not surprisingly, the puritanical residents view him as an outside contamination.
But when you "gotta dance" you may shake things up a little.... An energetic and snappy film, featuring the hit songs Let's Hear Itfor the Boy, Holding Out for a Hero and Footloose.
