Frederick Nicholls is a Birmingham man, bom in 1871, who now lives in Liverpool. One of his first successes, over thirty years ago, was with some settings of Love Songs of Tennyson. Besides over sixty songs, he has composed Orchestral Suites, Cantatas, Chamber Music, and Pianoforte pieces.
