Many a television critic has tried to define what it is that makes children divulge their innermost thoughts and secrets to Harold Williamson - none has succeeded. But regular viewers of Braden's Week cherish the Saturday-night encounters between Williamson and the juniors which led one charmed reviewer to describe him as 'Puck among the fairies.'
