Scene: A Seat in a London Park.
Mind Picture: A gentleman of Mayfair and a young Cockney girl of Camberwel! are sitting on a seat in the park, waiting for their respective lovers. They become engaged in conversation, in which each derides the opposite sex.
Finally, they read in the newspaper of a collision between a motor-van and a car, which were being driven by their absent lovers.
Both forget their sex championship, and praise the unfortunate lovers, and, feeling the community of misfortune, agree to go off together and visit them.
