Theodore Major
'The only way I have learnt to paint is by looking at children's paintings. They have a beauty and simplicity until they start to learn.'
Theodore Major, aged 75, has painted people, factories and chimneys with a power that has amazed the art world. Reluctant to sell, or even price, his work he still lives in two semis in Wigan, surrounded by more than 3,000 paintings.
