with his Quartet
Reginald King first broadcast with this ensemble a year ago. While he calls it a quartet, it is in fact a quintet, consisting of King at the piano and four strings, violin, viola, cello, and bass. The piano is used as the predominating instrument with the strings forming the background.
King has been broadcasting for some twelve years now and is among the few in the country whose compositions are regularly played and broadcast by other light music combinations. Before founding his presenr ensemble he frequently broadcast with his Celebrity Trio.
