The Early Music Show: Biber and the Forgotten Virtuosi

Catherine Bott presents a live edition from the National Centre for Early Music in York, featuring the ensemble Ricordo with members of Het Caecilia Concert, marking the 300th anniversary, on 3 May, of the death of violin virtuoso and composer Heinrich Biber.
Featuring music by Biber and his contemporaries Schmelzer, Froberger, Viviani and Weckmann. Biber is also featured in Performance on 3 on Tuesday at 7.30pm
