Behaviour and language in a single species: by Eric Simms
During the spring and summer of 1952 Er.c Simms, with the help of a BBC mobile recording unit, made what he believes to be the first complete recording of the life-cycle of a single species of bird. In this talk Mr. Simms uses these recordings to describe and illustrate the language and behaviour of the stone-curiew.
