EVANS , who last Friday broadcast the opening talk in this series on Africa under the title ' Setting the Scene ', will this evening discuss Africa's natural resources and their development through the initiative of Europeans. He will review the growth of the market in Africa for imported goods, and show how these developments have affected the life of the native.
A Fellow of St. John's College,
Cambridge, I. L. Evans teaches the Colonial Service cadets who go up there to take a special course before going out to their jobs. He returned at the end of last year from a tour of tropical Africa.
