The first women's medals in Alpine ski-ing are decided today with both runs in the combined slalom. There are also medals at stake in the men's 10km and women's 5km Nordic classical competitions -cross-country ski-ing using the compulsory striding technique. Plus a new event to the Winter Olympics - moguls freestyle ski-ing - a combination of technique and speed over a bumpy course.
