Drama on 3: The New Vaudeville: Voices from the East End

on BBC Radio 3

Writer and comedian Karl Minns has created a music hall-style entertainment that takes a satirical and selective look at East End life over the last 50 years.
Recorded in front of an audience at the Theatre Royal Stratford East, the show mixes monologues, sketches, and songs in a format that reflects the changing face of east London's vibrant community. The compere/MC is Simon Day, and the performers are Kriss Dosanjh, Jeff Innocent, Christopher Kelham, Karl Minns, Eddie Nestor and Gilly Tompkins.
