Michael Crawford stars as the great American showman Phineas Taylor Barnum, in the hit American musical which has broken records all around the world, scoring its greatest success in Harold Fielding's productions at the Palladium and Victoria Palace theatres in London.
Crawford studied circus techniques for months to perfect a role which he played more than 1,200 times on stage and won him the year's 'Best Performance in a Musical' award.
