FAB
A code word used by Gerry Anderson 's characters, FAB was thought to mean fabulous. His television series, including Thunderbirds, Stingray and Terrahawks, pioneered sci-fi adventure. The programmes remain popular with adults and children alike, and Anderson's own combination of puppet-making and characterisation has given him cult status. Now there is a new project, Space Police, this time combining puppets and humans. Will it be FAB? Gerry Anderson and his colleagues talk about their work to Christopher Cook. Producer RACHEL YORKE
