With Susan Sharpe. Tom Beghin performs works by Ignaz Moscheles on two different fortepianos: a London
Broadwood (1827) and a Viennese instrument by Gottlieb Hafner (c 1830). He's inspired by a concert given in Vienna in 1815 at which Moscheles, then "the prince of pianists", performed on Beethoven's Broadwood and on a Viennese piano built by Graf. The concert gave listeners a chance to compare the two different instruments.
