The Turner Prize
A special edition of Omnibus introduced by Humphrey Burton direct from the Tate Gallery in London, with exclusive coverage of the Turner Prize announcement. Worth E10,000, this prestigious new award will be given by the Tate's
Patrons of New Art to 'the person who has made the greatest contribution to art in Britain during the previous year'.
The shortlisted candidates are Richard Deacon , Gilbert & George Howard Hodgkin Richard Long and Malcolm Morley.
Omnibus will be at the Tate for the presentation of the prize by Lord Gowrie,
Minister for the Arts, and for immediate reaction to the award from critics and artists themselves. Production
