Eyes
Many people would regard sight as the most precious of all the senses but often have little idea of how the eye works. Eyes are complicated pieces of machinery which pick up light patterns; these are then changed into information for our brains. So ii's important to know the rudiments of basic eye care and to be aware of the things that can go wrong with our eyes.
I think I need glasses - but do I? Do opticians push you into wearing glasses? Can television damage the eyes? And how will I cope with failing eyesight?
Put your questions on eyes to a leading eye surgeon and Mr Cyril Howell , an optician.
