continues the season of films featuring the legendary Bing Crosby This week with Joan Caulfield , Barry Fitzgerald
In this sentimental musical comedy, Bing plays a country doctor at odds with Dr McRory, who has been looking after the health of a small New England community for 35 years. But gradually the new arrival wins the hearts and respect of the local community. The music is by Johnny Burke and James Van Heusen and includes ' Country Style ', one of the crooner's greatest successes.
