Jon Lord , the classically trained keyboard
I player of the rock group Deep Purple. His pioneering crossover work, the Concerto for Group and Orchestra, was performed at the Royal Albert Hall in 1969, conducted by Malcolm Arnold. Today Lord reveals some of the influences on his music, including works by Stravinsky, Vaughan Williams , Bach, Bartok and the Beatles. Repeated tomorrow 3pm
