The Time of My Life: Frank Gillard

Frank Gillard, who has just retired as Managing Director of BBC Radio looks back to the years 1943-1945 when as a war correspondent he travelled from the Western Desert to Berlin.
He illustrates his story with a few of the 100 recordings he made over this period that have been kept in the BBC Sound Archives.
