The Lyric Quartet is an original combination, consisting as it does of viola, saxophone, piano, and singer. Of its four members Linda Parker , an Australian by birth, has broadcast in many recitals from opera to Walt Disney programmes. Leonard Rubens is a member of the well-known Brosa Quartet and a viola player of distinction. Frank Wier has played the saxophone in a number of well-known dance orchestras, and Bernard Crook is director of the well-known radio quintet that bears his name.
