Anglia. Today, Advent calendars are opened, and the first candle on the Advent wreath is lit as Christians begin the season of Ad vent - a time of prayer and preparation for the coming of Christ. Dr Donald English, General Secretary of the Methodist Church, Home Mission Division, joins the congregation in Ely Cathedral to reflect upon the significance today of this special time.
